Don’t forget Reid was equally and rightfully incensed over the glaring omission of Allan Holdsworth.

What about Todd Rundgren !
You can add Alvin Lee , David Lindley anf Rod Price to the list.
I saw Robin Trower as an unannounced opening act for a bill that included Ten Years After and King Crimson. He was promoting his second album. I’d never heard of him before. His set was so unlike anyone I’d seen before. I think his set put Alvin Lee and Robert Fripp in the back seat. Why he’s not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a travesty of rock justice. I’ve got several of his releases since then and I’m in line to receive his upcoming release in a few days. I’ve seen RTB in several forms four times and never been disappointed. He is well versed in the blues. “Farther Up the Road” is one of his traditional encore songs. My favorite, “Bridge of Sighs.” It always takes me to a place in my head that I don’t want to leave.
What about Frank Marino?
Is Rick Derringer in the Hall Of Fame?
