Robin Trower announces new live album

British blues guitarist Robin Trower will release a new live album titled One Moment In Time: Live In The USA on January 30 via Artone/Provogue. The first single, a live version of “Day of the Eagle,” is available now.

The album documents performances from Trower’s 2025 U.S. tour, recorded by sound engineer James Kane. After reviewing multiple shows, Trower selected recordings from two performances: June 14 at The Music Box at The Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and June 24 at the Tupelo Music Hall in Derry, New Hampshire.

“The new album is the best take of each song from those two nights,” Trower said. “It’s about the performance but also down to the sound quality. You have to choose carefully—I did a lot of listening.”

The 14-track set spans Trower’s career, combining classic material with newer songs. Four selections come from his 1974 album Bridge of Sighs, including “Too Rolling Stoned,” “Day of the Eagle,” “Little Bit of Sympathy,” and the title track. Other songs include “Daydream” from Twice Removed From Yesterday (1973) and “Somebody Calling” from In City Dreams (1977).

The album also features “Rise Up Like The Sun” from 20th Century Blues (1994) and “Distant Places Of The Heart” from Seven Moons (2007), Trower’s collaboration with the late Jack Bruce. More recent tracks include selections from No More Worlds To Conquer (2022) and Come And Find Me (2025).

Trower is joined on the live recordings by bassist and vocalist Richard Watts and drummer Chris Taggart.

One Moment In Time: Live In The USA offers a snapshot of Trower’s current live sound and celebrates over six decades of his career as one of Britain’s leading blues rock musicians.
