Lance Lopez: Salvation From Sundown Review

If there is anyone out there that fits the blues-rock genre to a tee it’s Lance Lopez. Salvation From Sundown is a blues album that rocks hard.

From the moment the album begins with “Love of Mine” Lopez shreds and doesn’t let up. His riffs are nasty and the grittiness of his voice meshes with them perfectly. His soloing is just as impressive as his riffs. Salvation From Sundown is guitar junky paradise.

It’s amazing that a talent such as Lopez is so unknown. Salvation From Sundown is the fifth studio album from Lopez, and there isn’t a bad track on it. It took Joe Bonamassa several albums to get the attention he deserved, hopefully Lopez can follow in his footsteps.

The Review: 8/10
