Warren Haynes reveals remixed version of song from debut album

GRAMMY Award-winning guitarist, singer, and songwriter Warren Haynes has released a new single, “I’ll Be The One,” from the upcoming re-mixed and re-mastered edition of his debut solo album Tales of Ordinary Madness, scheduled for release January 30 via Megaforce Records.

Originally released in March 1993, Tales of Ordinary Madness marked Haynes’ emergence as a solo artist while he was still a full-time member of the Allman Brothers Band. The album blended rock, blues, and soul, highlighting both his songwriting and guitar work.

The newly expanded 12-track edition includes one bonus track not featured on the original release. The album was produced by Chuck Leavell and co-produced by Haynes, re-mixed by Jim Scott at Plyrz Studios, and re-mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone at Sterling Sound. The release also includes the previously issued single “Fire In the Kitchen.”

Haynes will support the release with his Winter of Warren 2026 Tour, beginning with an 11-date solo run from February 12 through February 26. The intimate, two-set performances will feature material spanning his career, including songs from his solo catalog, Gov’t Mule, and the Allman Brothers Band.

Following the solo dates, the Warren Haynes Band will perform a short run of headlining shows from February 27 through March 7, including a March 6 appearance at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, as part of the venue’s 100th anniversary celebration.

After the Winter of Warren Tour concludes, Haynes will rejoin Gov’t Mule for a series of spring headlining dates beginning March 27 in Denver. The band will also perform select festival appearances before joining Joe Bonamassa for a co-headlining summer tour running from July 29 through August 16.

In September 2025, Haynes released The Whisper Sessions, a stripped-down companion album to his 2024 solo release Million Voices Whisper. Both albums were produced by Haynes and feature guest appearances from Derek Trucks, showcasing different sides of his songwriting and guitar work, from full-band blues-rock to intimate, minimal arrangements.
