Danny Bryant unleashes “Not Like The Others”

British blues rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Danny Bryant has released “Not Like The Others,” the second single from his upcoming album Nothing Left Behind, due out February 6 via Jazzhaus Records.

“Not Like The Others” further highlights the deeply personal direction Bryant has taken on Nothing Left Behind. The track reflects themes of self-examination, change, and resilience, aligning with the broader narrative of the album, which Bryant has described as documenting his rehabilitation and renewed outlook on life.

Bryant has emphasized that while the album draws heavily from personal experience, it is rooted in optimism rather than reflection alone. “Not Like The Others” balances emotional honesty with a confident blues rock drive, showcasing the evolution of Bryant’s songwriting without departing from the sound that has defined his career for more than two decades.

The album was shaped by the tight chemistry of Bryant’s five-piece band, with guitarist Marc Raner serving as producer and Martin Meinschäfer handling recording and mixing duties. Bryant has noted that the band focused on creating songs that could be fully realized in a live setting, allowing the studio recordings to translate naturally to the stage.

Nothing Left Behind features 11 tracks, including “Enemy Inside,” “Swagger,” and a reimagined cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Nothing Man.” Bryant has described the project as a collective effort and a significant turning point, both personally and creatively.

Nothing Left Behind will be released on February 6, with “Not Like The Others” available now on digital platforms.
