Warren Haynes announces 2026 tour dates
Warren Haynes will launch an intimate solo tour in February 2026. The run will feature two-set, stripped-down performances highlighting songs from Gov’t Mule, his solo catalog, the Allman Brothers Band, and other material connected to his influences. Each show is expected to have a unique setlist.
The 11-date tour begins February 12 in Northern California and continues through San Francisco, Napa, Santa Cruz, and Los Angeles, where Haynes will play four performances across two nights at the new Blue Note LA on February 17 and 18. The tour then moves east with stops in Santa Fe, Austin, Dallas, and Houston before concluding February 26 at The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee. The dates follow Gov’t Mule’s annual New Year’s run at the Beacon Theatre.
Haynes also confirmed a series of March 2026 shows with the Warren Haynes Band. Following a performance at Suwannee Amp Jam #2 in Florida, the lineup of Haynes, Terence Higgins, Kevin Scott, and Matt Slocum will play Birmingham, Rochester, Wilkes-Barre, and Ithaca from March 1 through March 7.
Fan Club presale tickets for all newly announced dates become available November 19 at 12 p.m. Eastern, with local presales beginning November 20. Public on-sale begins November 21 at 12 p.m. Eastern. A limited number of VIP packages will be offered.
“Although I have done a few solo dates here and there, I’ve never afforded myself the opportunity to do an actual solo tour so I’m extremely excited about this,” shares Haynes. “Performing by myself gives me the opportunity to express myself in a completely different way from performing with a band. The focus becomes much more about my voice and the songs themselves and less about virtuoso guitar playing although I try to include some fun guitar stuff as well. Anytime I get the chance to do something that I don’t get to do often enough is a rewarding experience for me and hopefully for the audience as well.”
In late 2024, Haynes released Million Voices Whisper, his first solo album in nearly a decade. The record features guest appearances from Derek Trucks, Lukas Nelson, and Jamey Johnson. Haynes followed the release with The Whisper Sessions, a stripped-down companion album issued digitally in September 2025. The project includes reimagined versions of songs from Million Voices Whisper along with two covers, including the Allman Brothers Band’s “Melissa,” featuring Trucks on guitar.
Before the 2026 tour begins, Haynes will return to Asheville on December 13 for the 33rd annual Christmas Jam. The event benefits Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity and BeLoved Asheville and will feature Warren Haynes & Friends, Stone Temple Pilots, MJ Lenderman & The Wind, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, and a tribute to Phil Lesh. Gov’t Mule will then reconvene for their three-night New Year’s run, beginning December 28 in Schenectady before returning to New York City’s Beacon Theatre for December 30 and 31. The New Year’s Eve performance will spotlight music from 1971.
