Premiere: Blood Brothers – “Help Yourself”

In a Blues Rock Review exclusive premiere, watch the music video for Blood Brothers’ new single, “Help Yourself,” the first single and title track from the band’s upcoming album, available on September 19th via Gulf Coast Records.

Mike Zito said, “This song is fun and has some tongue-in-cheek humor to it lyrically, but deep down it’s about ‘doing the work.’ Whatever the work is for any of us, there’s a satisfaction when we’re finished.”

Albert Castiglia adds, “Mike has a great knack for creating riffs. He’s one of the best at it. He brought “Help Yourself” during one of our Blood Brothers soundchecks. He started the riff and the band fumbled through it until it evolved into something real special. It’s kind of how we’ve been doing it since we started the band. It comes pretty easy when the chemistry is there”.

The music video was produced by Mike Zito’s son, Zach.

Help Yourself is the band’s first studio album since their self-titled debut album, which racked up numerous honors, including Blues Rock Review’s #1 Album of 2023. It also won for “Blues Rock Album” at the 46th Annual Blues Music Awards. Help Yourself is available for pre-order.
