The Blues Rock Show with Warren Haynes
Warren Haynes joins Blues Rock Review for a wide-ranging conversation about his new symphonic album and the challenge of bringing improvisation into a 64-piece orchestra. Haynes also discusses touring with Joe Bonamassa, the lasting influence of ZZ Top and Frank Beard, his experience working with Dolly Parton, the artists who still blow him away, and a future instrumental album.

Saw original Allman brothers @ Fillmore east & academy of music NYC. Then again 14 years ago @ PNC with Warren, Greg & Derek trucks. 2 years ago saw THE BROS @ MSG. Also saw ALLMAN-BETTS band. GREAT SHOWS!! HUGE FAN
Saw Warren Haynes and Allen Woody play at a dump called Shades near Deerfield,Il in the mid / late nineties. The AC was broken so they put up these big fans near the stage. The fans were blowing woodys hair around his head and he couldn’t see his guitar to play. He went off on the roadie and we laughed so hard. What a night and what a show.
