Joe Bonamassa announces Sound Wave Beach Weekend 2027
Joe Bonamassa has announced the return of Sound Wave Beach Weekend for 2027 following a sold-out debut event. The artist-curated destination festival will once again take place in Miramar Beach, Florida, with fans able to sign up for pre-sale access and additional details at the event’s official website.
The 2027 edition will feature two performances from Bonamassa, along with a lineup that includes Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Rival Sons, Los Lonely Boys, The War and Treaty, Robert Randolph, The Record Company, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, and Bywater Call, among others. The weekend will also include artist collaborations, sit-ins, and special events, including a welcome beach bonfire hosted by Nikki Hill.
The announcement follows the inaugural Sound Wave Beach Weekend, which sold out during pre-sale and brought fans together for a three-day event combining live music with a beachside setting. The festival quickly established itself as a new destination event, with an emphasis on a smaller-scale experience and a curated lineup.
Hosted in partnership with Topeka, the festival is designed to offer a more streamlined experience for attendees. The 6,000-capacity venue, located steps from the beach and nearby accommodations, allows guests to move easily between daytime and evening activities. Each attendee is assigned a reserved “cove,” with food, drinks, and merchandise delivered directly.
Recent renovations to the venue include the addition of a lower bowl and upper lawn section, expanded video screens, more than 30 premium suites, a shaded artisan village, a food court, and a secondary stage.
Sound Wave Beach Weekend continues Bonamassa’s efforts to create live music experiences that bring together artists across blues, rock, Americana, soul, and roots genres in a collaborative setting.

Joe, can we get a West Coast version of this?
