Joe Bonamassa announces 2026 summer tour with major guests

Joe Bonamassa will return to major outdoor venues across the United States next summer. The blues rock guitarist has announced a new run of amphitheater and festival dates beginning June 26th at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York, and running through late August. The tour will wrap up at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.

The dates include select co-headline shows with Gov’t Mule. The GRAMMY-nominated band, led by Warren Haynes, continues its long-running reputation for improvisation and roots-driven blues rock. JJ Grey & Mofro will appear on several dates as special guests, bringing their Southern soul-rock sound to the tour. Rising blues artist D. K. Harrell will join the opening night performance in Bethel.

A fan presale begins Tuesday, December 9th at 10 a.m. local time for participating shows. Public on-sale begins Friday, December 12th at 10 a.m. local time. Some dates will go on sale in early 2026.

The tour expands a busy stretch for Bonamassa, who has toured heavily across the U.S. and Europe throughout the past year. He recently completed a sold-out summer amphitheater run and is finishing a series of fall dates with longtime keyboardist Reese Wynans, who is stepping back from regular touring after this season. Early 2026 includes another major run through theaters and arenas before Bonamassa launches a months-long European tour highlighted by two nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Bonamassa is also preparing to release B.B. King’s Blues Summit 100, a 32-track centennial project created with the B. B. King Estate. The album has been released in monthly volumes since September, with the full collection arriving February 6th, 2026. In addition, his most recent studio album Breakthrough earned a GRAMMY nomination.
