Premiere: Kenny Neal teams with Quiana Lynell and Lee Oskar for “Let Life Flow”

Premiering exclusively on Blues Rock Review, Kenny Neal returns with a powerful new rendition of his 2008 track “Let Life Flow,” a reimagined version showcasing a deeper spiritual resonance and fresh artistic energy. Available everywhere May 2nd, brings together Neal’s Louisiana blues roots with the rich, soulful vocals of Quiana Lynell and the iconic harmonica stylings of Lee Oskar.

Following the success of his earlier 2024 release “Devil’s In The Delta,” Neal expands his musical palette with this collaboration. Lynell, an award-winning jazz and gospel powerhouse, delivers the track’s life-affirming message with warmth and soul, trading verses with Neal in a chemistry-filled duet. The pair’s longtime friendship and musical connection shine through every note, with Lynell’s radiant voice providing a dynamic counterbalance to Neal’s grounded presence.

Adding another layer to the mix is legendary harmonica player Lee Oskar, best known for his work with the chart-topping ’70s soul-fusion band WAR. Oskar’s unmistakable tone weaves seamlessly into the track, lending both nostalgia and nuance.

Neal said, “The song wrote itself as a natural response to my coming out the other side after being unexpectedly laid up for an extended period of time. After the song flowed out of me, I realized it was about being liberated from a dark place. It’s a song about the tests we endure as humans and finding the strength to fight the good fight. I was pleased to get a little help from my dear friends Quiana Lynell and Lee Oskar in joining me and sharing this song with the world”.
