NO AI…I would like to know what happened to his guitar playing. Listening to his most recent stuff, I’m not hearing anything that sounds like blues playing like his earlier stuff. As for his voice, so sad to hear. I kinda lost track of him after his first 3 albums because of his lack of actually playing. I hope he fully recovers. Perhaps do like Kenny Wayne and hire a singer for his own music. Not join another band.
I agree with the idea of him doing a Kenny Wayne Shepherd style performance, with a guest singer. Jonny has a unique voice but he is also an amazing guitar player and it would be lovely to see him back out on the road again or to release some music. Definitely no AI please!!
I just want to see Jonny come out from hiding. We love him so much and want to know what he’s doing in life. I know he doesn’t owe us this, but we hate feeling like he’s dead and gone. If he decides to sing or play guitar again we will be the first to buy tickets!
Amazingly I never heard of Jonny Lang until the song came through “that great day“ came through on my Christian sites. I went to iTunes right away download it because I was blown away by the depth of the heart of the song and his voice I pray the man gives his life to the Lord and that in the restoration weather he worships with his voice worships with just a guitar but no more mixture no more rock ‘n’ roll. Worship Jesus.
