Chase Walker releases “Bones” video

Up and coming blues rocker Chase Walker has released a music video for “Bones.” It’s the latest single from Walker’s upcoming EP. The song meshes blues with gospel, soul, and R&B.

“I think this might be the first song I’ve written that came to me in a dream,” says Walker. “Though I don’t remember the dream, I woke up one morning with this chorus stuck in my head, and so I built the song around it. The song is inspired by my personal experience in bad relationships that, in all honesty, were covered in red flags from the beginning. The temptation to pursue the things that aren’t good for you is a very mysterious force. Sonically I’ve taken inspiration from classic Memphis and Chicago blues records where you can truly hear the space of the recording studio. I feel that the raw organic nature of that sound is a critical part of the framework from which the blues expresses itself.”
