Premiere: Chase Walker – “No Good”

In a Blues Rock Review exclusive premiere, stream Chase Walker’s “No Good.” It’s the first single from Walker’s upcoming EP. The song blends influences from Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones to The Black Keys and The White Stripes.

“For this release, I’m getting back to my roots in the music that inspired me to make music in the first place… blues influenced guitar-driven rock and roll,” Walker tells Blues Rock Review. “After going to college in Nashville, growing as an artist and songwriter, trying new paths and styles, my approach for this record is to get back to fundamentals and to do more with less. I’ve learned that a song doesn’t have to say everything in order to say something meaningful. The art lies more in the spirit of what you’re creating rather than the ornate nuances within it. Being that this is also my first fully self-produced release, having recorded and mixed the full thing in my home studio, this record is fully encompassed in my artistic influences, style, and sound.”
