Buddy Guy to miss Crossroads Guitar Festival
Buddy Guy has withdrawn from performing at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival set to take place in Los Angeles this weekend on September 23rd and 24th. According to a post on Guy’s social media, Buddy has been advised not to perform due to a standard medical issue.
Guy has been a staple performer at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival for years.
A statement was released on Guy’s social media saying, “Buddy Apologizes for the inconvenience and wishes Eric and the Crossroads family the very best. We look forward to a return to the road soon!”
Guy has been touring extensively in 2023 for his “Damn Right Farewell Tour.” He celebrated his 87th Birthday in July.
