“Don’t Wanna Be Your Dog is a guitar heavy, blues rock song that is all about dealing with bad karma,” Mackenzie tells Blues Rock Review.
The track is from Mackenzie’s newly released album, Preach To My Soul. It’s Mackenzie’s third studio album.
In regards to the album, Mackenzie says, “I’m thoroughly connected to my roots. The title track “Preach to My Soul”, essentially refers to just that. The powerful influence from those that came before me are fundamentally preaching to my soul, channeling their passion, communicating their love for the blues to come through me in my music.”
