Buddy Guy to release “The Blues Don’t Lie”

Blues legend Buddy Guy will release his 34th album, The Blues Don’t Lie, on September 30th. Once again, the 86-year-old teams up with longtime producer Tom Hambridge. It’s the follow-up to 2018’s The Blues Is Alive and Well which won a Grammy.

The first single, “Gunsmoke Blues,” a collaboration with Jason Ibell has been released.

The album also features guest appearances from Mavis Staples, James Taylor, Elvis Costello, and more.
