Blues rocker Alastair Greene has released a new single for “Lies and Fear.” It’s a live performance of the track from Greene’s latest album The New World Blues.
“‘Lies and Fear’ was one of the songs I’d written before going down to Louisiana to make the album that became The New World Blues with producer Tab Benoit for his Whiskey Bayou Records label,” says Greene. “Lyrically it reflects a turbulent time in our nation’s history when it was hard to know who and what to believe at any given time.”
Greene has stayed busy on tour with Tab Benoit and recently signed with the Atomic Music Group as his international booking agency. Atomic Music Group also represents Sue Foley, The Blasters, and Petula Clark.
“Alastair is an exciting guitarist, singer, and songwriter with one hell of a pedigree. We are looking forward to taking an active role in his artistic development,” Atomic Music Group said in a statement.
