Met Mike Zito in a parking lot here in Memphis, Missouri about 12 gigs ago. Like a million others, I’ve fallen in love with his music but actually it was his down to earth honesty and integrity that opened my heart. Long story short, my ptsd therapy is music and Dr.Zito saved my life more nights than I really want to discuss. My hope is that others will see the light through his journey. I witnessed the Knucklehead Gulf Coast Records gig up close and it was like our first date all over again. Amen, pass the Zito.
