JJ Grey & Mofro Unleash “This River” at Harvest Fest 2013

JJ Grey and Mofro are set to unleash their new CD, This River, with a live performance at this year’s Yonder Mountain String Band’s Harvest Festival. The concert is set in Ozarak, Arkansas on October the 17th.

The seventh album for JJ Grey & Mofro was produced by Grey and Dan Prothero. This River was recorded in the South at Grey’s home studio located in Florida, known as “The Egg Room.” Most of the tracks were cut live with the whole band in studio. Grey says, “It adds so much more to the dynamic of a recording. It’s so different when you get to play off each other rather than overdub each track.”
