Lee Ritenour: 6 String Theory Review

Lee Ritenour’s 6 String Theory is a collaboration of numerous guitar heroes from various genres. The amount of talented guitarists on this album is staggering. They include Lee Ritenour, John Scofield, Taj Mahal, Joe Bonamassa, Robert Cray, Slash, Steve Lukather, Neal Schon, George Benson, BB King, Jonny Lang, Vince Gill, and more.

The album contains some covers, instrumentals pieces, and originals including the Ritenour penned “L.P.” in tribute to Les Paul. 6 String Theory is a solid album, but none of the tracks will blow you away. With such a strong cast of players I expected a little more. Still, there’s plenty of enjoyment any guitar fan can take from this album.

The Review: 7.5/10
