Rival Sons announce U.S. tour

Rival Sons have announced a fall 2026 U.S. headlining tour and revealed that work is underway on a new studio album expected to arrive next year.

Dubbed the “Domestic Bliss” tour, the Grammy-nominated rock band will perform songs spanning its nine-album catalog when the trek kicks off on October 30 in Boise, Idaho. Canadian blues rock duo The Blue Stones and Colorado rock trio The Velveteers will provide support on most dates.

“We are elated to get back out touring across the U.S., it’s been a while. We weren’t able to tour the U.S. properly on the last two records, so it’s going to be great to get back to some of those territories we missed. We’re going to mix it up and try to play songs from across the catalogue – this is going to be fun for us!” guitarist Scott Holiday said.

In addition to the tour announcement, Rival Sons confirmed the band has returned to the studio to begin recording its next album.

“It’s been great to get back to writing and recording with my brothers in Rival Sons – it’s early days and we’re doing this one a bit differently but I’m so excited about how it’s turning out!” drummer Michael Miley said.

The band’s most recent releases, DARKFIGHTER and LIGHTBRINGER, arrived in 2023. Released during the same year, the albums showcased different sides of the band’s songwriting while continuing to expand Rival Sons’ sound. Earlier this year, frontman Jay Buchanan also released his debut solo album, Weapons of Beauty, which reached No. 10 on the U.S. Americana chart.

Limited VIP packages will be available for the “Domestic Bliss” tour, including early venue entry, exclusive merchandise and a signed poster.
