Robin Trower wraps up new studio album
Robin Trower has announced that he has completed work on a new studio album and will return to the United States for a run of major shows in 2026.
The legendary guitarist shared the update on Facebook, writing, “I’ve just wrapped my new studio album, and with two very different Live albums out this year, I am delighted to confirm I will be gearing up for some huge US shows in 2026, with the full dates announced on Friday.”
While Trower did not reveal a title or release date for the forthcoming record, the post confirms that fresh material is on the horizon from one of blues rock’s most enduring and influential names. The upcoming project will follow 2025’s Come And Find Me, which continued his late-career creative resurgence and showcased the veteran guitarist’s signature tone, soulful vocals, and sharp songwriting instincts.
Trower also referenced the release of two live albums in 2026, One Moment In Time: Live In The USA and Robin Trower Live! (50th Anniversary Edition). The pair of releases spotlight different eras of his career, from recent concert performances to a commemorative edition celebrating one of the standout live recordings in his catalog.
Best known for classics such as “Bridge of Sighs,” “Too Rolling Stoned,”and “Day of the Eagle,” Trower has long been celebrated for his expressive guitar playing, powerful vibrato, and instantly recognizable tone. His work helped define the blues rock boom of the 1970s, while his continued studio output has kept him a relevant force well into the modern era.
Not quite correct. Trower’s last 2 releases “Come & Find Me” and just prior to that “No More Worlds to Conquer” DID NOT in fact feature Robin on vocals. Vocals were performed via the bluesy voice of Trower’s longtime bassist/vocalist Richard Watts with the ever-reliable Chris Taggart on drums during both ventures.
