Parker Barrow unleashes “The Healer” from new EP
Nashville-based Southern rock band Parker Barrow has released a new five-track EP titled Hold the Mash. The record became available on streaming platforms on November 5, marking the group’s first release since their 2023 debut album Jukebox Gypsies.
The EP features previously released singles “Make It” and “Novocaine,” along with three new songs: “The Healer,” “Glass Eyes Crying,” and “Olivia Lane.”
“The Healer” is accompanied by an official music video, and the track includes a psychedelic-tinged organ solo from Eric Safka.
About “The Healer,” drummer Dylan Turner said, “It’s an exciting track because it shows a brand-new side of Parker Barrow. Our music has always been groove based, and guitar driven, but this track called for something different. It features Eric Safka’s psychedelic-tinged organ solo which sets it apart from the rest of the tracks we’ve released so far.”
In support of Hold the Mash, Parker Barrow will join Canadian rockers The Damn Truth on a U.K. tour beginning November 12. The band will also appear on the sold-out Rock Legends XIII Cruise in February 2026, performing alongside Gene Simmons, Blue Öyster Cult, REO Speedwagon, The Guess Who, Uriah Heep, Loverboy, The Outlaws, and Eric Burdon and the Animals.
Parker Barrow was formed by husband-and-wife duo Kane and Turner in 2019, with Bender joining in 2023. Known for blending blues, Southern rock, and soul influences, the band draws inspiration from acts such as The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers Band, and Tedeschi Trucks Band.
