Premiere: Ben Brandt – “Parasite Blues”
In a Blues Rock Review exclusive premiere, watch the lyric video for Ben Brandt’s new single, “Parasite Blues.” The track is from Brandt’s upcoming album, Solid Ground, due out March 20, 2026.
“Parasite Blues is about the people who feed on your energy, ignore your boundaries, and force you to cut them loose before they drain you dry,” says Brandt.
Regarding Solid Ground, Brandt says, “I had more creative control over the direction of this album and could finally capture my own vision, since all the ideas were mine. It’s my sound done my way — not chasing trends.” Brandt calls the album “rock-based with touches of blues and prog — somewhere between Queens of the Stone Age and Robin Trower — but filtered through my own lens.”
The album was tracked live at Nashville’s Greasy Time Studio under the direction of producer J.D. Simo. Brandt handled lead vocals and guitar, joined by Simo on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Ted Pecchio on bass, and Adam Abrashoff on drums. Using vintage equipment and a raw, unpolished approach, the band captured a sound full of warmth and immediacy, giving the record the energy of musicians fully in sync and chasing the same moment.

Hey folks, greetings from Toronto! I came across Quantum Ai Review https://hylinkquantum.com/ after a coworker suggested I look it up. Reading through it convinced me to give it a try myself. What I found was surprisingly straightforward—I didn’t feel overwhelmed or pushed into making quick moves. Instead, I felt like I could actually learn as I went. That sense of gradual progress has kept me motivated. For me, the biggest win was not giving up on crypto entirely, which I was close to doing before this.
