Very happy for Taj and Ruthie. They left the LRBC #42 cruise two days early to attend the Grammies and the 2,500 attendees on the cruise cheered them on before they left.
Two fantastic people and musicians!
Ruthie didn’t leave the shop early. Sue Foley did. Not surprised. Sue “mailed in” her performance and was not friendly off stage. Conversely. Ruthie is an amazing musician. Amazing entertainer. Amazing person. She brings it all. And it’s all genuine.
Class and elegance !
Great performances on the blues cruise !
Sue did not mail in her performance. That last night in B.B. King’s lounge was phenomenal. Maybe you were thinking of Kenny Wayne Shepherd. 🤣
Little Feat shall return friends
Long live Fest!
Sue Foley should have WON the Grammy for Best traditional Blues album, trust me Sue Foley is a Blues Gem in this World !
Good Blues too ya 🎶
No one on Blues Cruise 42 “mailed in” their performance. Sue was phenomenal
The church studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma is where Taj mahal recorded this Grammy winning album. The church studio was the home of Leon Russell back in the ’70s and many greats have passed through there including Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty. Bob Dylan, JJ Cale, Freddie King, and The Gap band
Joe Bonamassa should have won
Could not agree more. He deserved to win. He has earned his place in the blues world.
I agree Joe Bonamassa is the best.
Sue Foley should have won!!
Can’t believe Joe got snubbed again!

I hear you John. Joe B has punished for bucking the industry powers that be. – Jim C in Old Lyme.
Joe needs some grammys!
I’m suspicious that Independent
Artists Labels might get pushed aside
Being kicked out by Record Companies
With more money and influence.
JOE has his own label.
I saw him on YouTube in concert at
Red Rocks in Colorado for free today,
Wow! It was fantastic! The sound was incredible. BRAVO
He’s not old enough.
Danielle Nicole’s latest release is solid gold. She’s amazing.

Since JB is not SRV, he’ll never win. Along with having his own label, he’s a phenomenal technician, he doesn’t look the part and contributes heavily to the genre financially . If you disagree, go see him live..
