Philip Sayce unleashes “Hole In Your Soul”

Guitarist Philip Sayce has released “Hole In Your Soul” from his upcoming album to be released in 2025. The song is released on Sayce’s Atomic Gemini Records and distributed through Forty Below Records. “Hole In Your Soul” was tracked live in Toronto at Noble Street Studios by Brian Moncarz and features legendary keyboardist Fred Mandel.

Longtime Sayce fans may recognize “Hole In Your Soul” as a re-recorded version of “Little Miss America,” which appeared on 2010’s Innerevolution album. Innerevolution was never released in North America.

About the new single, Sayce said, “The title of this song draws inspiration from an Albert King quote. It addresses the toxic obsession with material wealth and the relentless pursuit of external validation, often at the expense of one’s intuition and inner truth. The lyrics explore the futile attempt to fill an internal void with fleeting approval, leaving one perpetually unsatisfied. I’m thrilled to share this song with you. Feel the music — crank up the volume!”

Earlier this year, Sayce released The Wolves Are Coming, which Blues Rock Review’s Fidel Beserra called “a great record that rivals the best in Sayce’s discography.”

Sayce will tour the UK beginning in November with special guest Troy Redfern.
