Premiere: Hamish Anderson – “Late in the Evening” video
In a Blues Rock Review exclusive premiere watch the music video for Hamish Anderson’s new single, “Late in the Evening.” The groovy rocker is the first single from Anderson’s upcoming album, Electric.
“The music video for ‘Late In The Evening’ is a bit of a celebration of being back after the craziness of the past few years,” says Hamish. “We wanted to revisit that journey, literally. It’s a snapshot of the birth of this song all the way through to its coming into its own on stage. So we pulled footage from in the studio and last year when I was on tour opening for Gary Clark Jr and also George Thorogood & The Destroyers across the US. In bringing it to life, we relied on footage contributed by my team, fans/friends and had it edited by Dustyn Hiett who’s process reinforced the unfiltered aesthetic. We left a lot of the footage raw to underscore the feeling of the song overall. It is exciting to share it with you all now that the song is out. Play it loud!”
Electric is Anderson’s first album in five years and Hamish calls it a “Love Letter to the Electric Guitar.”
