Eric Johanson announces tour dates

After completing a month-long European tour with the RUF Records Blues Caravan, Eric Johanson has announced new summer dates for his “Don’t Hold Back Tour” in both the US and Europe. The tour will kick off with a hometown performance at New Orleans’ Bayou Boogaloo Fest, followed by shows in Louisiana and Texas. He will then return to Europe to perform at the prestigious Holland International Blues Fest, where he will open for Robben Ford and Warren Haynes.

Back in the US, Johanson will deliver a special solo set opening for The Record Company in Louisville, CO, before hitting the road with his band for shows in Sellersville, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Buffalo, and Rochester.

In July, Johanson’s power trio will travel to Spain for the first time to perform at the Blues Cazorla Fest and headline a show in Madrid. The band will then head to Sweden for the Time To Rock Festival, before returning to the US for a series of dates across the Midwest and Southeast.

Johanson’s most recent album, The Deep and the Dirty, hit #1 on the Billboard Blues chart.
