Joe Bonamassa shares update on next studio album

Joe Bonamassa revealed on social media that he is recording tracks for his next solo album with longtime producer Kevin Shirley. Work began on the album in 2023 in Santorini, Greece. In 2010, Bonamassa released Black Rock, which charted #1 on the Billboard Blues chart and also was recorded in Santorini.

Bonamassa shared a photo of the guitars he’s using for the album on social media.

Bonamassa’s latest album, Blues Deluxe Vol.2 was his record 27th #1 album on the Billboard Blues chart, which is the most all-time.
