Watch Jake Andrews perform “Dark Night” at Crossroads 2023
Austin based blues rock guitarist Jake Andrews performed “Dark Night” on the village stage of Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2023. The song is featured on Andrews’ latest album, Train Back Home, released in July. Train Back Home is Andrews’ sixth solo album.
“Crossroads 2023 was an amazing experience. So many amazing artists performed, and the excitement from fans and musicians alike was palpable, as the last event was held in 2019,” Andrews told Blues Rock Review. “A greater representation of younger artists were included, and I’m grateful to have been a part of it. A lot of my Austin hometown friends were performing, such as Jimmie Vaughan and his band, Gary Clark Jr. and his band, Cindy Cashdollar and James Bullard. It was very cool to have our local connection there for the weekend, where we could all show up for each other’s performances and support each other. A special thank you to Eric Clapton and everyone that made the festival happen!”
