Premiere: Ivy Gold – “Broken Silence”
In a Blues Rock Review premiere watch the brand new music video for Ivy Gold’s “Broken Silence.” It’s the title track and first single from the band’s sophomore album available May 26th.
About the track, lead singer Manou said, “The vibe of the music is kind of heavy and it is not always easy to say out loud what you feel. To me, it feels so important to speak the truth at all times in my life, I feel that I wanted to look deeply into my soul, discover many new aspects of my personality and areas where I may have been hiding from myself, being afraid to raise my voice and stand up for my own truth!“
The video was produced by Robin Cedric Jäger and the team at Peryton Film and was filmed in Frankfurt / Germany.
About the album, Manou added, “I am so happy about this album because it has become so personal – more so than our debut – I feel. Also we tried different new things. For example we brought in a great choir and had a blast recording together! I feel we have grown together as a band!”
Ivy Gold consists of Manou on vocals, Sebastian Eder (Avalon) on guitar, Anders Olinder (Glenn Hughes) on keys, Tal Bergman ( Joe Bonamassa, Billy Idol) on drums, and Kevin Moore (Jennifer Rush) on bass.
