Blues rock is a style of rock music with a characteristic boogie rhythmic pattern and long heavy electric guitar solo improvisations with sonic overdrive. 5. The Jeff Beck Group
This is a British band formed by Jeff Beck (former Yardbirds guitarist) and existed from 1968 to 1972. Such (later) famous musicians as: Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Cozy Powell and others played with Jeff Beck during these years. The group played heavy blues rock and hit the world charts. Subsequently, Jeff Beck Group will be called (along with Cream) one of the founders of British heavy blues rock, ahead of the legendary Led Zeppelin.
