  • Terry Quiett Band (TQB) is my fave “local” band, though they are almost 4 hrs away, I would gladly drive to Western Kansas to see them live! They are the most soulful, bluesy sound, rockin’ blues band around! And I’m from Kansas City, that’s sayin a lot!! 🎶🎵🎸🎤🎼

  • It doesn’t contain a shuffle so it doesn’t show his weaknesses. I guess I can understand that though

  • Kirk Fletcher is the blues… even JB says so. Don’t know why KWS or JCG aren’t up here but JCG’s Sweet Bye & Bye is like SRV meets Al DiMeola and KWS’s live Blue on Black is bad ass

    • Very well spoke about !!I met Anthony a few years ago in a Kansas Blues venue One of the Best Blues performers that in this day and age that I have heard any where around & I feel blessed to get to know a little about Anthony by him sharing many a time after a breath taking performance I do know he is a true man of God has a world of respect for all of mankind and is a true Bluesman !!!! The Blue-Rock came along Anthony shared once was there would be no crowd because most of all the older Bluesman have since past and the youth generation of today !!! knows nothing about the True Blues myself I expect to see black people when I go to a Blues concert ? I went to Knuckle-Head Saloon in Kansas City to get my Blues fix. Anthony still had his blackl drummer & black bass player . The only other black person there in the crowd I made the comment to when I go to a blues concert i expect to see several black blues fans in visiting with this man I had a very well remembered conversation and said to him ( thank you for your thought on my issue it helped me a lot to understand my thoughts because when the mask comes off we are who we are !!!! HE said to me How long have you known Anthony Gomes?? do you know why I am here ( my reply no ) after the concert I was going to visit with Anthony about a good name for a blues song and calling it ( when the mask comes off) he put his name GO GO – Ray & phone number on a piece of paper and said give me a holler any time I recently was on my computer checking out some blues performers when watching Samatha Fish I hollered at my girlfriend and said look at her drummer that’s the black man I visited with in Kansas City at Anthony Gomes concert GO GO RAY !!! It is a very small world when one thinks about it. I feel very gifted to have met a very very good Drummer with Samatha fish Band & Anthony Gomes one of the best Blues rock performers in this day and age has my vote also thank you for letting me share what keeps the Blues alive Kevin Teter Hutchinson KS

They have gone from zero to 50,000 followers in 9 months on account of their wonderful weekly livestreams. Outstanding debut album, one great song after another, and they are the nicest people you could hope to meet.
