Premiere: Walter Trout “Tomorrow Seems Too Far Away”

Walter Trout’s “Tomorrow Seems Too Far Away” is now available for streaming. The track is featured on his upcoming album, Battle Scars, due out October 23rd on Provogue/Mascot Label Group.

Trout’s wife Marie said about the song, “Walter spent many months in various hospitals facing the debilitating reality of liver failure. I came up with many attempts to try to help us both endure. One of them was a suggestion that we would talk about the phone call announcing the availability of a new liver as coming “tomorrow,” no matter what, to try and trick our minds into being optimistic.  It didn’t always work, but “tomorrow” became a sort of inside message of hope between us as we waited –what seemed endlessly— for that phone call.”

The album is available for pre-order.
