Premiere: Bernard Allison – “Serious”

In a Blues Rock Review exclusive premiere, watch the brand new music video for Bernard Allison’s “Serious.” It’s a take on the song originally recorded by Bernard’s father, Luther Allison.

“Serious is my dad’s most popular song. I’ve always wanted to record it since the first time I heard it. This one means a lot to me,” says Bernard Allison.

The song appears on Allison’s new album, Luther’s Blues, which celebrates the life of Chicago blues legend Luther Allison. The two-disc set includes 20 tracks, all of which are Luther Allison compositions. It’s currently available digitally and will be released physically on January 26th.

Bernard Allison is currently on the road with Ally Venable and Katie Henry in Europe for the Ruf Records 30th anniversary tour.
