Samantha Fish to open for the Rolling Stones

Samantha Fish is set to open for the Rolling Stones on their final stop of the Hackney Diamonds Tour on Sunday, July 21st at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri.

Fish announced the news on her social media.

She previously opened for the Stones at the New Orleans Jazz Fest earlier this year.

Samantha Fish has been riding high of late. Samantha has been touring with Slash for the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival. You can see photos of her performance from the inaugural show here.

In a recent interview with Blues Rock Review, Slash said, “In the last couple of years she’s sort of popped up all over the place, but she’s great because she’s got a great spirit and she’s got a great voice and a great attitude and she’s no bullshit. In some ways, she doesn’t sound like Bonnie Raitt but in some ways, she reminds me of Bonnie Raitt from a long time ago. She’s just got a great guitar feel and her whole presentation is really cool and unique.”

Fish is coming off receiving her first Grammy nomination along with Jesse Dayton for 2023’s Deathwish Blues.

She also made a memorable impression at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival in the fall.
