Jimmie Vaughan cancels tour due to cancer treatment

Jimmie Vaughan’s summer tour has been canceled as he has begun treatment for cancer according to a statement on his social media pages. The statement said Vaughan is undergoing treatment for a “curable form of cancer and will be taking this time off to heal.”

The statement added, “He is expecting to make a full recovery and restart his tour in September.”

In addition to his fall tour, Vaughan is also slated to open dates for Eric Clapton in October.
