Release date for fifth Black Country Communion album revealed

Supergroup Black Country Communion (Glenn Hughes, Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham, Derek Sherinian) will release its fifth album, V, on June 14th. The first single, “Stay Free” will be released on March 1st according to a comment left on the social media post below by singer/bassist Glenn Hughes.

The band just wrapped up rehearsals. Bonamassa shared that there would be multiple live shows for the band ahead which has not traditionally done much touring.

Once again, the album is produced by Kevin Shirley. Black Country Communion recorded the album at Sunset Sound in Hollywood back in June of 2023.

  • Really looking forward to number V after having a listen to a couple of songs in advance, & both sound great. Expected release date June the 12-14th, even better buying the double disc of the album, both cd & vinyl and to my surprise it’s already on the way & posted out on June 5. How quick is that? Amazing directly from Joe’s web site. To me it’s great to support the artist directly.
