The Sully Band: Let’s Straighten It Out Review

It is now a few months since The Sully Band launched their album Let’s Straighten This Out, after much anticipation. The album took quite some time to release as The Sully Band felt the need to perfect their work, keeping in mind everything from lyrics, instrumentals, and vocals.

The album opens with the song “When The Battle Is Over” which immediately sets the mood of this album as it is a catchy tune that will slip into your brain and never leave. “Hallelujah, I Love Her So” is next with a rock ballad that helps to present The Sully Band’s style to their listeners. “Ice Cold Daydream” is next with a very soothing tune to help you relax. The song is tailored well to the lyrics, being reflective of falling in love and the feeling of being loved and supported by someone that cares for you. The next song, “I Wish It Would Rain” is well-crafted. The lyrics and the instruments all compliment each other very well, and the main focus of the song is to touch people and make them feel that The Sully Band gets them.

The next song, “Nothing From Nothing” presents itself as an anthem for those struggling to find their way. It is sung with a lot of heart and soul, making it easier for everyone who struggles to find their dream or purpose in life to connect with the message being conveyed by The Sully Band. The next song is “If I Could Only Be Sure” it is a great song to help you relieve stress. The lyrics and the tune are very soothing and help you to relax if you are stressed out or angry about something. “Gimme Little Sign” is a song that reflects how everyone should strive to help others and not judge others as this song makes you feel grateful for the small things in life, and it is always good to be thankful for what you have.

The song “If You Love Me Like You Say” is a nice love song about not rushing into things or leaving yourself open to heartbreak after a few glasses of Strawberry Wine. The next power ballad tune, “Let’s Straighten It Out” is one of the best tracks on the album. The Sully Band truly knows how to write an epic love ballad that will have you crying your eyes out. “Higher and Higher” is a song with an uplifting and optimistic message which will make you feel better about yourself and the world around you with its message of being grateful for all the little things in life.

In conclusion, with all the success this album has seen and with all the recognition already it is receiving, the Sully Band truly has created an excellent album.
