Joe Bonamassa unveils “Curtain Call” video
Joe Bonamassa has unveiled a music video for “Curtain Call.” The track is featured on Bonamassa’s latest album, Time Clocks, which was recently voted Blues Rock Review’s #1 album of 2021.
The music video was directed by Paul van Kan and takes place in the woods featuring a soldier, his wife, and son.
I’m intrigued that you chose to depict an Aussie soldier in the clip. I haven’t yet come to grips with the lyrics (perhaps courtesy of ASD), but maybe they reveal the reason. Although it’s far from blues, I rather like the dramatic form of the music.
Incidentally, the lights you had flashing into the audience at the last concert I saw here in Adelaide at the Thebarton Theatre were blinding me in the centre second row, given my sensitivity to light (and heat), again thanks to ASD.
