Premiere: Walter Trout – “OK Boomer”

In a Blues Rock Review world premiere, stream Walter Trout’s “OK Boomer” from the brand new album, Ordinary Madness, available August 28th.

“When the phrase ‘OK Boomer’ became used as a derogatory put down of my generation,  I decided to spring to our defense! Granted we haven’t done the best job running the world and what we are leaving for our children is very scary, but we’re not all bad,” Trout tells Blues Rock Review. “So this is an anthem albeit with some humor thrown in –

I like my music loud
I’m geriatric and I’m proud.
I’m a boomer and I’m OK.
I’m an OK boomer.”

Blues Rock Review caught up with Trout to discuss the new album in depth in a recent interview.
