JD Simo releases “One Of Those Days” single
June 12, 2020 (NASHVILLE, TN) – Nashville based blues guitarist/singer JD Simo today releases his first single of 2020, “One of Those Days”. This song is the first release from his upcoming full-length eponymous record, JD Simo.
“One of Those Days” is a gentler song than JD Simo listeners may be used to. Trading in his powerful gritty vocals for a smooth falsetto that meshes with the soft guitar creates a tranquil but upbeat summer jam.
JD told Popmatters, “‘One of Those Days’ is a sentiment I hope we all can relate to. I try really hard to grow and account for the things about myself I want to change. In the same breath, I see how I fall short. There’s no harm in that unless you don’t keep trying.”
JD Simo spent 2019 and early 2020 (pre-pandemic), on the road. After releasing his previous album, Off at 11, JD toured with bands such as The Allman Betts Band, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, and Blackberry Smoke. In addition, JD Simo and his band had their own headlining tour which spanned across the entire country.
Now, in the midst of the quarantine, JD hasn’t slowed down and after recovering from a serious bout with COVID-19 himself, made it his mission to bring joy through music on his social platforms.
