Musicians mourn the loss of Dr. John
On June 6th legendary musician and Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductee Dr. John passed away of a heart attack. He was 77 years old. A statement was released on his social media accounts saying,
“Towards the break of day June 6, iconic music legend Malcolm John Rebennack, Jr., known as Dr. John, passed away of a heart attack. The family thanks all whom shared his unique musical journey & requests privacy at this time. Memorial arrangements will be announced in due course.”
The music world has taken to social media with tributes.
