“Kingfish” Ingram covers “Empty Promises” at Dallas International Guitar Festival

20-year-old blues guitar phenom Christone “Kingfish” Ingram paid tribute to Michael Burks with a cover of “Empty Promises” at the Dallas International Guitar Festival. “I had been a fan of Michael Burks since I was young,” says Kingfish. “That was just a song that I always liked cause it’s great, it’s moving, it’s touching.”

“Kingfish” Ingram will release his debut album Kingfish on May 17th via Alligator Records.
