Premiere: Anthony Gomes – “Stealin’ From The Devil” video

In a Blues Rock Review exclusive premiere watch the new music video “Stealin’ From The Devil” by Anthony Gomes. The track is featured on Gomes’ upcoming album, Peace, Love, & Loud Guitars, available October 19th.

“In ‘Stealing From The Devil’ we pay tribute to Robert Johnson and create our own Crossroads legend,” Gomes tells Blues Rock Review.  “I’ve always had a lot of sympathy for Johnson. It might be because I know firsthand how difficult it can be to ‘make it’ in the music business and how many of us go to great lengths to find fame and fortune. In this song I am on a mission to find some justice! I  go down to hell, rescue Robert, battle the Prince of Darkness, rip up the Deed to the bluesman’s soul, hotwire the Devil’s Cadillac and floor it to the Pearly Gates. You know, just the boring, regular everyday stuff us musicians do.”

  • Gomes is the savior of Blues Rock!!

  • Shows it doesn’t have to be hi-brow or complex to write a good song and tell a story. Another artist to add to my growing list of those to follow.

  • Way cool Gomes!!!

  • Just another thing to prove your awesomeness!! Very cool Anthony!!
