Grammies are a self serving industry popularity contest.....
KO
Besides attending concerts and listening to music obviously, I'm into my motorcycles, cooking, home brewing just to name a few hobbies.

RE: Top 20 Year End List
Secoy - That's a great list.

Here was my submission list for the top 20. All of the writers got to submit their top 10. Bands like Gugun don't make the cut for top albums of 2012 since it was a 2011 release. Wish we had got them reviewed last year so they would have been eligible then.

1. Carson Henley - 100 Hours
2. Henrik Freischlader Band - House in the Woods
3. The Nimmo Brothers - Brother to Brother
4. Oli Brown - Here I am
5. Joe Bonamassa - Driving Towards The Daylight
6. Dan Patlansky - 20 Stones
7. Gary Clark Jr. - Blak & Blu
8. Claude Hay - I Love Hate You
9. Robert Cray - Nothin But Love
10. Allan Parkinson - The Fire Burns Inside
Besides attending concerts and listening to music obviously, I'm into my motorcycles, cooking, home brewing just to name a few hobbies.

You are right Kevin the Gugun was 2011 so I would replace it with the Witchcraft - Legend cd. That cd may be a bit to heavy for some but to me it was a very solid cd throughout. With a cool 70s heavy guitar vibe to the Music. Maybe a bit of Black Sabbath influence

That's a pretty nice list, Secoy. Like Kevin said though, Gugun was 2011 as were Virgil and the Accelerators, Alastair Greene, and the Dirty Streets. Those were all released late in 2011, but definitely a solid list.
