Howdy
Thought I should introduce myself, I have been a member for several months now but am just getting active. I have been a classic rock, blues, blues rock fan for many years, having grown up in the 60's and 70's, when the good stuff was being made. I live in Montana, so live concerts are rare and even when available may require driving several hundred miles on a week day to see any major/medium artists. I buy a lot of CDs, not into digital formats/downloading, guess it is the "old school" part of me, growing up with record albums. If I were to name my favorite artists, the list would be mostly classic rock but I like a lot of new stuff coming out in the Blues Rock genre.

Welcome Rob Brown. I am alot like You I buy cds and a few Downloads when cds are not available. BRR is a good place to discover new music and to help others to find more to listen too.

Hey Rob,
Welcome to the discussion.
KO
Besides attending concerts and listening to music obviously, I'm into my motorcycles, cooking, home brewing just to name a few hobbies.

Hey Rob! Nice to meet you!

So, if you were to name your three most recently listened-to bands, which would they be?
If it ain't Brokaw, don't fix it.

Amanda, I buy copious amounts of CDs, so to be honest, I could list 20 artists. New bands I just purchased without hearing before though would include Stone Machine (very good) and Gary Clark Jr. (Also very good). An old group that I just recently found out about (knew the players but not together) was West, Bruce & Laing - Why Dont Cha. I like that album a lot. Also, Lincoln Durham - The Shovel vs the Shaking Bones, another good album.

RE: Howdy
Great list! And kudos for buying the CDs. There's something nice about having a tangible copy of music I think and not just digital copies.
If it ain't Brokaw, don't fix it.
