Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band reveal “Gravity”

The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band have revealed “Gravity,” which is featured on the group’s upcoming album, The Traveler, available May 31.

“If you want to take it very literally there’s a guy standing on the edge of a cliff and his lover is in the water below and she says come in, jump in, the water’s fine, and he’s hesitant, but her words of encouragement are enough for him to let go and he jumps, but when he jumps it takes him out,” says Shepherd about the song. “But if you listen to the whole thing it’s about a relationship and the love they share. It’s looking back on their happy times together,” Shepherd adds.
