One Man Bands

One man bands are on the rise in recent years, especially in blues rock. Here are some great one man blues rock bands worth checking out.

Pete Francis

Pete Francis is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Blues Rock Review. Pete founded Blues Rock Review in 2010 because he felt there was a major void in how the blues rock genre was covered. Pete is the host of Blues Rock Weekly and a co-host on the Blues Rock Show.

  • Listen to Lincoln Durham’s “The Shovel Vs The Howling Bones” album. Really good stuff. This guy is super talented.

  • I caught Claude Hay live a few years ago in Ipswich, QLD and he was incredible. Not only does he create these funky layers of drums, bass and mean guitar riffs but he’s an amazing vocalist. Super humble guy too, he took the time to talk to me and a few others between sets. Deserves to be a monster star.
